Endava has been listed at number 24 in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 2009, which ranks Britain’s fastest growing, privately owned technology companies based on sales growth over the latest three years.
This is the first year that the IT services company with headquarters in London and delivery centres in the UK and Eastern Europe has appeared in this prestigious listing, confirming its place among the elite of the UK technology industry.
The company was founded in 2000 and it leverages on the combination of industry expertise and implementation experience in the UK with highly-skilled and cost effective software development and managed services capability from Eastern Europe, delivered via a blended sourcing approach.
This business model has proved to be very successful as Endava achieved an average annual sales growth of 79% from £2.7m in 2005 to £15.7m 2008, while the organisation developed steadily and has now over 500 people in 10 locations in four countries: UK, USA, Romania and Moldova.
Endava has further expanded its operations as a result of partnering with customers like IMG Worldwide, BPP, Cision, ITV, Alexander Mann Solutions, NYSE Euronext, Kiln, and UBS.
John Cotterell, Endava’s Chief Executive, said: “To be listed 24th in the Tech Track 100 is a credit of all our staff and a result of building strong relationships with our customers. Our business is growing strongly in the face of an economic downturn that has presented new opportunities as large organisations outsource IT systems and processes in order to achieve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Having delivery centres in Eastern Europe we have benefitted from the changes in the offshoring landscape and the consequent emergence of Eastern Europe as a top destination. Our next challenge is to grow up to 2,000 people in the next few years”
