Just announced this past week, Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel has been chosen by the World Travel Awards as Icelands Leading Hotel for the 3rd consecutive year.
It is an exciting time as the hotel was also recently included on the CNBC Business list of Europes Top 25 Business Hotels. The criteria for both awards is based on outstanding facilities and service. This year, with market changes around the globe, value for money was also taken into the equation.
General Manager, Gaute Birkeli comments; “This past year has been very challenging and evolving for hotels in Iceland. The 1919 Hotel team has focused from the beginning on a dynamic, proactive strategy that allows us to adapt quickly to changes in the market and most of all, protect this fantastic product in uncertain times. It is a great pleasure to have our hotel recognised by both the World Travel Awards and CNBC Business and I think that this gives an indication that our stategy is working. This is something we can all be very proud of.”
This is the 2nd time the hotel has made CNBC’s Top Hotels list since they opened in 2005 and a “hat trick” as the World Travel Awards Leading Hotel in Iceland.
Thanks go out to all who help make this happen for the Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel!
