Awakin take Titanic Leap with Titanifacts on the iphone

In the shadow of the Thompson dock in Belfast, cutting edge Digital Publishing company Awakin has developed a new iPhone application called Titanifacts.

It will launch alongside their amazing new community website The app was developed with the assistance of Northern Ireland Screen and has wide support from development agencies and stakeholders.Explained John Bustard, managing director of Awakin, This new iPhone application is a progression from our previous mobile digital experiences, such as the award winning Armoy Armada Digital Experience. He went on to say We are particularly excited about the interest this project is opening up in the USA. We aim to highlight the creative capability that exists here, which is built on a very sound design and engineering prowess.

Within the Titanifacts app users will have the opportunity to view the documentary, Titanic Islandhich highlights the amazing feats of engineering that were taking place over 100 years ago in Belfast. There are many contributions from key people including Una Reilly of Belfast Titanic Society and Dr Norman Apsley of NI Science Park.

John added s we take a Titanic leap we are promoting awareness of the work of Habitat for Humanity NI who are building real community both here and overseas.
