Redding, CT and York, England (PR Web) August 16, 2010 – The Search Marketing Expo – SMX conference series is expanding its focus on international search marketing. International Search Summit (ISS) will be offered in conjunction with SMX events worldwide beginning in 2011. ISS is produced by international search agency WebCertain Group.
The first International Search Summit @ SMX will take place at SMX West in San Jose March 8-10, 2011 followed by events in London, Seattle and New York. Additional dates and locations will be announced in the near future.
“SMX and International Search Summit are complementary events, each obsessed with delivering high quality content,” said Chris Sherman, a partner at SMX producer Third Door Media and content chair of many SMX events. “Offering ISS and SMX together is a huge benefit to delegates. Working with ISS allows us to dive deep into the complexities of international search marketing, and will enable our delegates to reduce their travel time and expenses significantly by attending co-located events,” Sherman added.

The International Search Summit started in London in 2007 and has seen been produced in London, Oslo and Berlin with the first event in the US taking place in Seattle in October this year. Speakers at the event regularly include senior executives from major global search engines and social media sites from Russia to the Middle and Far East as well as case studies from organizations with significant experience in operating in multiple languages dealing with all the cultural issues which that entails.
