Israeli businessman, Stef Wertheimer, is to receive the Oslo Business for Peace Award at the 2010 Oslo Summit peace conference in Norway for his outstanding ethics in business reports IceNews.
According to IceNews, Stef Wertheimer, alongside six other businesspersons, will receive the Oslo Business for Peace Award at this year’s Oslo Summit. The award, sponsored by the International Chamber of Commerce and the Business for Peace Foundation, is to honour the seven business figures for their contributions towards the advancement of ethical business practice and social responsibilities. This year will be the first time that an Israeli businessperson will be receiving the Oslo Business for Peace Award.
The Oslo Summit peace conference will highlight the connection between peace and trade through various presentations, as well as a panel debate. The event will conclude with the formal presentation of the Oslo Business for Peace Award to the seven honourees.
This year’s Oslo Summit is sponsored the International Chamber of Commerce and the Business for Peace Foundation. The event is held on 18 October 2010 at the Oslo City Hall, Norway.
