Hotel in south Iceland receives support from British travel publicationStracta Hotel in south Iceland has received support from the popular British travel publication, The Independent Travel, within an article that showcases the most talked about boutique hotels across the globe for 2014.

According to the article, titled New hotels 2014: Check-ins to check out, Stracta Hotel “is positioning itself as a place to relax, but also to explore the famed volcanic landscape.”

Stracta Hotel in Hella, south Iceland, is set to open at the end of May 2014, right in the epicenter of the country’s incredible landscape. The hotel is located in relative proximity to numerous well-known attractions in Iceland, including Hekla, Eyjafjallajokull, Thorsmork, Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Jokulsarlon.

Nine other hotels are set to follow Hella in the coming years, with each Stracta Hotel strategically located to make the most of Iceland’s varied and unique natural attractions.
