Marketing Release – A new business report published by Vodafone states that organisations could increase its ROI within two years if the benefits of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications are utilised.
There are numerous benefits for organisations if M2M communications are properly deployed, such as better business intelligence, higher customer engagement, more efficient business processes, and stronger innovation.
Vodafone’s new Barometer Report 2014 notes that just under 90 percent of live M2M projects have started seeing ROI within two years, with 49 percent of those stating that their ROI has been ‘significant’.
Machine-to-Machine communications is becoming the next big thing within various industry sectors, including retail. CNBC notes that technology is increasingly becoming a part of the retail experience, not just online but also in the physical store.
